DOT Safety Inspection™ enables you to easily comply with DOT equipment safety and hazardous material regulations, capture MAINTENANCE data and provide ALERTS by automating the vehicle pre-trip and post trip inspections. DOT Safety Inspection eliminates paper based forms, saves time by electronically capturing data, and storing all inspection data and for those with on board computers it does away with paper altogether. We store your records so you comply with FMCSA retention regulations.

About DOT Saftey Inspection |
 |
|
SG Dot Safety Inspection runs in an internet browser and can be used on any computer with internet access, a hand held or vehicle mounted mobile data collection device, even your web enabled telephone. No software installation is required. When your worker enters the DOT Safety Inspection™ site they log on with a user ID and password. They then go through the simple, graphical screens to complete the vehicle inspection. When done they are automatically logged out. If any inspection item fails, alerts will be sent to your defined list immediately. It typically takes less than 30 seconds to answer the pre-trip vehicle inspection questions. Your data is securely stored at DOT Safety Inspection™. Users with appropriate privileges can review and print reports or download the information as needed.
Pictures of damage or components requiring maintenance can be attached to inspection reports for permanent record keeping.
Outbound / Inbound equipment can be inspected and checked for safety compliance and damage at your security gate before departure or upon arrival.
