SG's SGQC suggests an inspection sample size based on the AQL method when the operator is prompted to enter a receipt quantity, ship quantity, batch, lot or tote quantity. The operator is then guided through the inspection points of the product sample based on your desired quality attributes and process. The inspector records failures found, as they are found, and if the total failure rate exceeds the AQL acceptable level a 100% inspection can be initiated and alerts automatically sent to the appropriate management team members for corrective action - immediately.  All inspection failure statistics are recorded electronically in a SAS70 Type II hosted data base.  Reporting is easy and you can produce PDF documents for vendor returns, audits, QC or any other need, on-demand.  SG also provides easily used data export formats like Excel, CVS or XML for import into your back office systems.
